InnerTale

Delete your account and data

You can ask us to delete your account and everything we store about you in InnerTale. This is a right under the GDPR (right to erasure).

From the app (recommended)

  1. Open InnerTale and sign in (Google, Apple, or email).
  2. Go to You → the settings icon.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm with your password or with Google/Apple.

Your account is deactivated immediately. Permanent deletion happens 30 days later. If you sign back in before then, you can cancel deletion and keep using InnerTale.

What is deleted

  • Journal entries, conversations, and context memories.
  • Generated covers, follow-up reminders, and emotional data.
  • Your sign-in account (Firebase: email, Google, or Apple).
  • App data stored on the device.

We keep only a minimal compliance record: an anonymized identifier (hash) and the deletion dates, with no email and no journal content.

Third-party providers

Once deletion is scheduled we stop sending your data to our AI and image providers. We cannot guarantee erasure of records that already sit in their systems (processors).

If you joined the website waitlist, that email is not deleted automatically with the app account. Email us to remove it.

If you can’t sign in

Write to [email protected] from the same email you created the account with. We’ll verify you are the owner and process deletion within one month.
